On Monday February 21, 2011, The Eighth Annual Empty Bowls event was held at the Hearin Hall at First United Methodist Church from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Each meal was served at a cost of $10, all but a small percentage of which benefited the Cullman Caring For Kids Food Bank. This event included: Southern Gospel music, a keepsake pottery bowl, chili, and a sandwich. Empty Bowls is the fundraiser that brings in the most monetary donations for Cullman Caring For Kids Food Bank.
